Elephants & Bees & Coffee — A search for ‘True Love”
It’s scary starting something that is supposed to do something good for people and then take a small percentage of a coffee transaction and do something good for a giant creature (mostly peaceful/family oriented) that is threatened with extinction.
In this day an age that has all but destroyed the labels of a generation ago, I hesitate to give us a label. I think calling anything good or evil or liberal or conservative is a such a moot point in a world where the very definition of just being kind can come under vicious attack(and almost always from a cowardly anonymous digital smokescreen for a hurting but dangerous human and we wish that human would find a peace of their own).
So what’ a MF supposed to do?
Start to serve and serve some more with the intent of your heart and if it is real for a handful of people who smile and are willing to put their valuable ‘big toe’ in the water then maybe, just maybe, it is kind…
And in other ways, it’s even more scary not to do anything when you believe you can share an adventure that is going to help save elephants and humans together… We might even go so far as to believe we can help thousands of farmers and elephants.
You see, a billion people drink coffee everyday, and if you got a dollar for every bag of coffee you sold to a tiny percentage of those ‘slurpers’ who are looking for some kick butt coffee… then we would have a lot of $ (we will send $1 of from the sale of every 12oz bag of coffee to help the elephants and farmers) and we could make a big difference for some creatures great and small.
What should our adventure look like that you would be excited to share it with us? Would it be like the film “Princess Bride”.
Would we all share the excitement of finding ‘true love’ with a “prince” and a giant princess or an overly busy handsome Adventurer?…
what if the “prince” is a bunch of hard working farmers
and what if the “giant princess” was a wonderful elephant and she was the matriarch of her herd of 200 elephants
and the “prince” (farmers) and giant princess (elephants)find a mutual love of the world and each other
And maybe we could change the role of the “Adventurer” to a group of bees to become our “Westley” and the “Westley” finds a way to protect the farmer crops and to help with growing of everything that elephants like to eat by pollinating everything…
and then everyone holds hands walking into the sunset…
I know it’s a lot of wishing but just like that little train “The Little Train That Could”…“I think I can! I think I can! I think I can!”…
We can never have too many friendly giants and never enough friendly princes or princesses or hard working honey bees…
And you get to be the hero who unites them because you make your coffee work way beyond a wonderful taste…it works because part of your coffee money goes to build a beehive fence where the bees protect the farmers crops and so the farmers can feed their families and the bees pollinate thousands of plants in the jungles and savannas near the farms and so the elephants have plenty to eat…
More coming soon about our ridiculously named (but great tasting) coffee, that wants to create a modern day fairy tale with a happy ending for humans and elephants and the potential “adventurer” of our story: The BEEEEEEESSSSS…LOL
HelloSweetieCoffee.com will be up and running soon… Peace Be With You!
